Congratulations for making a healthy choice for both you, our community and our world by putting your feet first to get to school or returning home from school.
Please record you daily feet first activity by recording how you got to school on our weekly survey.
I have loads of special feet first items to give away to both individuals and classes that are making a increased effort to get to school without being driven by car.
2010 is going to be a very exciting year for Nayland Primary School in all sorts of ways. One of these new opportunities and changes will be the way we collect our daily feet first tally, but also our new FEET FIRST FRIDAYS. These will be held every second Friday before school. To be a part of this you must actively get to school by either walking, biking or anyway that allows you to be physically active.
We are hoping to set up more WALKING SCHOOL BUSES this year too! Please ask your family, care giver or anyone who could help walk to school with a group of children. It doesn't have to be everyday. The more people who help the better it is for everyone. It is a safe and interesting way to get to school with your friends or even to make more friends.
By the way keep your eyes open for ZEBRAS crossing our road!! They will be coming soon.
Any questions you may have please see Miss Williamson in Room 1.
